Title:Fostering entrepreneurship through project work in secondary technical education
Abstract:By fostering entrepreneurship in education, schools can significantly contribute to the development of innovation, creativity, and strengthening the economy at local, national, and international levels. Furthermore, the incorporation of entrepreneurial elements into school curricula enables students not only to develop an entrepreneurial mindset but also to acquire skills such as problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and planning, among others, which are crucial for success in today's rapidly changing job market. In this context, we investigated the impact of the project work course on the entrepreneurial ambitions of students in secondary technical education, specifically focusing on the Computer Technician and Electrician programs. The results showed that project work, with its practical nature, significantly influences students' readiness for entrepreneurship and encourages them to actively consider concrete entrepreneurial paths. We have demonstrated that the experiences gained during project work not only enhance students' confidence but can also spark a serious interest in entrepreneurship after graduation.
