S pomočjo 3D tiskalnika smo natisnili majhne zelene polžke z gibljivim telesom in jih preizkusili z učenci 4. razreda.

Title:Using 3D printed tools to promote a positive classroom climate
Abstract:3D printing is an additive manufacturing technique that enables the creation of a wide range of structures and complex three-dimensional models from a digital file by layering materials sequentially. In the Slovenian educational system, 3D printers are mainly used in vocational high schools, where they are utilized to create practical items and models for teaching purposes. Additionally, 3D printers can be used to print tools that facilitate classroom management. The aim of this master's thesis was to determine whether 3D-printed tools can improve a positive classroom atmosphere, student motivation, and focus. Using a 3D printer, we printed small green snails with flexible bodies and tested them with 4th-grade students. The students showed enthusiasm for the 3D printer and the printing process, which increased their engagement in the lesson. We found that the snails significantly improved students’ focus and reduced disruptive behavior, especially among students with special needs. The students exhibited a high level of motivation and participation, viewing the snails as a reward, which contributed to a positive learning environment. Responsible use of the snails also encouraged more consistent adherence to classroom rules.
