| Abstract: | The need for numerical analysis of industrial problems is increasing, which also drives the use of time-consuming and expensive software that employs methods such as the finite element method. The motivation for this master's thesis is to develop a fully parameterized model of a permanent magnet synchronous motor using open-source software, thereby automating the process of numerical analysis. Additionally, the thesis explores the use of "look-up" tables to accelerate the entire process of calculating the motor's operating point by using a program that, based on differential evolution, finds the optimal parameters for the desired operating point, defined by the interphase supply voltage level and the motor's power at the shaft. |
