Vsebuje določanje zahtev, iskanje bodočih ponudnikov/dobaviteljev, ocenjevanje ponudnikov in izbiro najboljših, pogajanja in sklepanje pogodb, naročanje, spremljanje dostave, prevzem in pregled blaga, skladiščenje in distribucijo ter nenazadnje plačilo dobaviteljem.

Title:Purchasing process in the company Kompani d. o. o.
Abstract:Procurement is the process that leads to identifying the need for materials, products, and services. It involves defining requirements, finding potential suppliers, evaluating suppliers and selecting the best ones, negotiating and finalizing contracts, ordering, monitoring delivery, receiving and inspecting goods, warehousing and distribution, and finally paying suppliers. It includes identifying needs from production plans or customer demand, evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and financial stability, followed by negotiations that set the terms of business. Upon receipt, goods are inspected for compliance with specifications, and any discrepancies are addressed through claims. The entire process also involves assessing supplier performance and analyzing procurement activities to identify improvements and optimize future procurement. The procurement process is considered very important and is effective in reducing costs, improving quality and reliability of the supply chain, and enhancing the competitiveness of companies. In the thesis, we first addressed the theoretical foundations, defining procurement, its role and significance, as well as its goals and tasks. We then explored how it connects with other functions within the company, outlined all phases of the procurement process, and presented how inventory is managed. In the practical part, we used theory to analyze the procurement process in the case of the company Kompani d.o.o.
