Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili algoritmično mišljenje in razvoj algoritmičnega mišljenja pri predšolskih otrocih.

Title:Studies Activities Including Development of Algorithmic Thinking for Preschool Children and Preparation of Manual for Preschool teachers
Abstract:In the thesis, we present algorithmic thinking and the development of algorithmic thinking in preschool children. Algorithmic thinking is one of the key skills needed in today's digital world. It is a way of thinking in which a chosen problem is broken down into smaller parts and solved in a systematic and planned way. Algorithmic thinking in preschool children can be developed through activities with and without digital technology. The thesis was created during the international Erasmus project Algolittle, in which one of the aims was to develop activities to develop algorithmic learning. In the practical-empirical part of the thesis, we have collected students' learning preparations from different activity areas, which we have analyzed according to specific criteria and will later organize in manual. The results showed that the majority of the preparations contained appropriate visual didactic material for the activities, the descriptions of the methodological procedures were partially appropriate in most of the preparations, and the majority of the preparations contained appropriate didactic objectives, which is true for the preparations from the activity areas and for the cross-curricular preparations. The results show that students need more skills in writing didactic activities. Still, we have also shown that it is possible to develop algorithmic thinking with and without technology, even in the preschool period, and why this is important.
