Abstract:Magistrsko delo "Management talentov v uspešnem prehranskem podjetju: Vpliv DEI (raznolikost, enakost in vključenost)" preučuje povezavo med strategijami upravljanja talentov in fluktuacijo zaposlenih med generacijo Z in Milenijci.

Title:Talent management in a successful food company
Abstract:The master thesis "Talent Management in a Successful Food Company: the Impact of »Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" (DEI) examines the link between talent management strategies and employee turnover among Generation Z and millennials. The assignment focuses on identifying the key factors that influence employee motivation, satisfaction and retention, and the impact of DEI practices on creating an inclusive workplace. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the concept of talent management, the importance of flexibility and inclusive work cultures, and the benefits and limitations of DEI strategies. In doing so, it highlights examples of both successful and unsuccessful implementations of DEI policies, illustrating their complexity and sensitivity in organisational settings. The empirical part is based on the analysis of data obtained from a quantitative survey conducted among employees of a food company. The results show that clearly defined career development strategies and promotion opportunities are key factors for younger generations, while older employees attach more importance to stability and relationships. DEI practices have a positive impact on employee satisfaction, but incorrect implementation can lead to feelings of unfairness and reduce trust among employees. The findings offer practical guidance for food companies in designing strategies to retain talent and improve organisational performance. It contributes to the understanding of the importance of flexible HR strategies and DEI practices and their impact (positive and/or negative) on reducing employee turnover in a competitive business environment.
