Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo obravnavali vpliv organizacijske kulture na motiviranje zaposlenih.

Title:The impact of organizational culture on employee motivation
Abstract:The master's thesis examines the impact of organizational culture on employee motivation. Organizational culture encompasses the values, norms, and behavioral patterns that shape individuals’ behavior within an organization and influence its performance. Motivation is a key factor that drives employees to achieve organizational goals and affects their engagement, satisfaction, and efficiency. The theoretical part presents various definitions and typologies of organizational culture, with a special focus on the Cameron and Quinn model (OCAI), and highlights key factors influencing employee motivation. The empirical part is based on a case study in a selected company, where a survey was conducted to explore employees' perceptions of organizational culture, their level of motivation, and the relationship between the two. The results show that employees recognize the influence of organizational culture on their motivation, particularly valuing elements of clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize collaboration, creativity, and development. Based on the findings, proposals for improving the company’s culture were developed, including enhanced communication, encouragement of teamwork, and the creation of a supportive and inclusive work environment. The master thesis confirms that organizational culture is a crucial factor in shaping a motivational environment and can significantly contribute to the organization’s overall success.
