Metode: Izvedli smo pregled literature v bazah PubMed, Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, CINAHL Ultimate (EBSCOhost) in Web of Science za obdobje 2015–2025. Vključili smo randomizirane klinične raziskave in sistematične preglede vpliva aerobne vadbe pri pacientih s Parkinsonovo boleznijo. Analizirali smo podatke, ocenili moč dokazov in rezultate prikazali v sintezni tabeli. Rezultati: V analizo smo vključili šest raziskav, ki potrjujejo, da aerobna vadba pozitivno vpliva na zmanjšanje motoričnih simptomov in izboljšuje nemotorične težave. Ugotovili smo, da aerobna vadba prispeva k boljši funkcionalni mobilnosti, večji samostojnosti pacientov in upočasnitvi napredovanja bolezni. Razprava in zaključek: Pregled poudarja pomembnost aerobne vadbe pri obvladovanju bolezni pri pacientih s Parkinsonovo boleznijo. Aerobna vadba učinkovito zmanjša simptome bolezni in izboljša kakovost življenja pacientov. Kljub temu je za boljše razumevanje dolgoročnih učinkov in prilagoditev vadbenih programov specifičnim potrebam pacientov potrebnih več raziskav.

Title:Aerobic exercise and disease management in patients with parkinson´s disease
Abstract:Introduction: Parkinson's disease is a complex neurodegenerative disorder characterized by motor symptoms, such as bradykinesia, rigidity, tremor, and postural instability, as well as non-motor symptoms, including depression, cognitive impairments, and pain. These symptoms significantly impact the functionality and quality of life of patients. The aim was to investigate the impact of aerobic exercise on symptom management and disease progression in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods: A literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, CINAHL Ultimate (EBSCOhost), and Web of Science for the period 2015–2025. Randomized clinical trials and systematic reviews on the effects of aerobic exercise in patients with Parkinson's disease were included. Data were analyzed, evidence strength was assessed, and results were presented in a synthesis table. Results: Six studies were included in the analysis, confirming that aerobic exercise positively affects the reduction of motor symptoms and improves non-motor challenges. It was found that aerobic exercise contributes to better functional mobility, greater patient independence, and a slowing down of disease progression. Discussion and Conclusion: The review emphasizes the importance of aerobic exercise in managing the disease in patients with Parkinson's disease. Aerobic exercise effectively reduces disease symptoms and improves patient's quality of life. However, further research is needed to better understand long-term effects and to adapt exercise programs to the specific needs of patients.
