Abstract:Diplomsko delo analizira vpliv certifikata Družini prijazno podjetje na zaznano usklajenost poklicnega in zasebnega življenja zaposlenih. Analitični postopki so vključevali opisno statistiko, t-test in Pearsonov korelacijski koeficient.

Title:Impact of the family-friendly company certificate on work-life balance
Abstract:This thesis analyses the impact of the Family-Friendly Enterprise certificate on employees' perceived work-life balance. The main objective of the research was to examine whether there are differences in perceived balance between employees working in companies with and without the certificate, and to explore the role of managerial support and the availability of work-life measures. The study is based on a quantitative analysis of data collected through a structured online questionnaire (n = 156). Analytical procedures included descriptive statistics, a t-test, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results indicate that employees in certified organizations report a higher level of work-life balance and a greater utilization of measures, particularly those that provide temporal and spatial flexibility. A statistically significant correlation was also found between perceived managerial support and employees’ subjective sense of balance. The findings confirm that the certificate provides an effective framework for promoting organizational support; however, its true value lies in the actual implementation of measures, internal communication, and the development of an inclusive workplace culture. The conclusion includes practical recommendations, particularly regarding the systematic monitoring of work-life initiatives and the reinforcement of leadership roles in supporting employees.
