Diplomska naloga obravnava vlogo umetne inteligence (AI), ekspertnih sistemov (ESP) in mobilnih aplikacij pri optimizaciji učnih procesov v baletnih in glasbenih šolah.

Title:The role of artificial intelligence in optimizing learning processes in ballet and music schools
Abstract:The digital transformation has significantly influenced artistic education in recent years. This thesis explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI), expert systems (ESP), and mobile applications in optimizing learning processes in ballet and music schools. Based on a review of literature, professional sources, practical examples, and modern technological solutions, the thesis examines how these technologies contribute to more personalized learning, real-time progress monitoring, technical skill analysis, automation of administrative tasks, and greater parental involvement in the educational process. The central part of the thesis presents the key characteristics of artificial intelligence and expert systems, their implementation in educational institutions, and concrete examples of applications that already successfully support artistic education, such as SmartMusic, Yousician, DanceStudio-Pro, RAD AI Assist, and Dance Masterclass. Special attention is given to the use of AI for visual analysis of ballet movements through computer vision, which allows for accurate monitoring of technical elements such as développé à la seconde. The concluding part analyzes the challenges of implementing these solutions, including technical, pedagogical, organizational, and ethical limitations, and provides proposals for further development. As a specific practical analysis, the thesis presents the example of the eGlasbenaŠola system, which illustrates the current possibilities and limitations of existing solutions in the Slovenian context. The findings confirm that artificial intelligence and expert systems do not replace teachers but serve as valuable support tools that, when applied thoughtfully and responsibly, enhance the quality of artistic education, relieve teachers of administrative burdens, and provide greater support for students and parents.
