Uporabili smo metodo analize, metodo kompilacije, metodo komparacije in metodo sinteze.

Title:Interventions for preventing hemodialysis catheter complications
Abstract:Introduction: Hemodialysis catheters represent a common vascular access method for performing hemodialysis in patients with acute or chronic kidney failure. However, they carry risks of complications such as thrombosis and infection. Preventing these complications is crucial for improving patients' quality of life. The purpose of the final thesis is to identify interventions that prevent complications of hemodialysis catheters. Methods: In the final part, we conducted a review of scientific literature based on the descriptive method. We used the methods of analysis, compilation, comparison, and synthesis. We reviewed eight professional articles obtained from scientific databases. All eight focused on interventions for preventing complications of hemodialysis catheters. The professional articles were published between 2014 and 2025. Results: We found that the use of solutions such as Ethenox and 2% taurolidine significantly reduces the incidence of complications related to hemodialysis catheters compared to the use of reference lock solutions. Studies confirmed that adherence to guidelines using antiseptics and advanced systems also reduces the risk of infection. Discussion and Conclusion: The results emphasize the importance of managing risks and implementing effective interventions in the care of hemodialysis patients with hemodialysis catheters. Despite advancements, numerous questions remain regarding the optimal solutions for hemodialysis catheter flushing, indicating a need for further research.
