Abstract:Razvoju osebnosti otrok dajemo vse večji pomen, posvečamo mu več časa ter posledično tudi raziskav.

Title:Musical and music–didactic games in early childhood
Abstract:Increasing importance is being placed on the development of children's personalities, with more time and research dedicated to this field. In doing so, we are increasingly recognizing the role that music education plays in the development of a child's personality. Play is the activity that promotes divergent thinking, exploration, and experimentation in children, and provides the foundation for the primary forms of learning that are essential for the development of a well-rounded personality. The diploma thesis Musical and Music-Didactic Games in Early Childhood consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, professional literature was used to define children's play, the concept of didactic play, and musical-didactic games. This is followed by an outline of musical development, musical activities, and the didactic principles underpinning musical-didactic games. In the practical part, we designed examples of musical and music-didactic games appropriate for early childhood. Our aim was to examine the significance and role of musical and music-didactic games in the development of general and musical abilities in preschool children and, based on theoretical insights, to design new examples of such games suitable for children in the first age group.
