Abstract:Uspešna komunikacija v mednarodnem okolju zahteva razumevanje kulturnih razlik, vrednot in komunikacijskih stilov.

Title:Artificial intelligence in international marketing communication
Abstract:Succesfull communication in an international environment requires an understanding of cultural differences, values and communication styles. Modern communication chanels, such as the internet, social media and other digital media, enable fast and widespread dissemination of information, but they also require media literacy and sensitivity to cultural context. In international marketing, it is important to consider different rules and norms regarding promotional activities, which can vary significantly between countries. Effective communication requires knowledge of local specifics and the ability to adapt content and approaches to particular markets. Modern marketing is increasing digital, which demands the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics and personalization tools. Digital communication allows for interactivity, rapis responsivness, message personalization and an approach that integrates both physical and digital customer touchpoints. Various ethical concerns are becoming increasingly imporntant, such as data protection, user consent and transparency, as they directly impact consumer trust and loyalty. Artificial intelligence is becoming a central element od digital marketing, enabling advenced data analysis, process automation, predictive modeling and content generation. It is used across various stages of marketing and contributes to higher efficiency, greater consumer engagement and long-term competitive advantage. AI also influences international trade by improving productivity, reducin costs, overcoming language barriers and optimazing supply chains. Despite concerns about its impact on employment, research shows that technology primarly replaces routine tasks and increases human efficiency. Based od the findings, most Slovenian SMEs exporting to foreign markets still do not use artificial intelligence in their operations. The reasons for this vary – from lach of perceived need, to the specificity of their industry and market, or restrictions on AI use due to corporate policies. The remaining companies use AI in at least one department, most commonly relying on generative AI such as ChatGPT, Google AI tools and automation support for email communication.
