Title:Organization of remote work at x: analysis of challenges and opportunities
Abstract:The diploma thesis titled Organization of remote work at X: analysis of challenges and opportunities explores the increasingly relevant topic of remote work, which has become a key component of modern business environments, particularly due to digitalization and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The central focus is placed on the human resource perspective, with special attention to employee motivation, communication, and changes in work organization. The purpose of the thesis was to examine the effects of remote work on employee efficiency and satisfaction, and to identify how Company X manages the challenges and leverages the opportunities of this work model. The theoretical part presents key concepts related to flexible work arrangements, digital support systems, and remote HR management, while the empirical part is based on a quantitative survey conducted among employees of Company X. The results indicate that remote work offers numerous benefits, such as increased flexibility and a better work-life balance, but also highlights challenges in team collaboration and employees' sense of belonging. Based on the findings, the thesis proposes practical recommendations, including strengthening digital support, training for remote leadership, and the implementation of a hybrid work model. The conclusions emphasize the importance of a strategic HR approach to remote work, grounded in trust, clear communication, and adaptable work processes.
