Razložili bomo odziv odjemalcev, ko pride do inflacije. Pripravili bomo pregled ključnih raziskav, v katerem bomo predstavili raziskovalne študije in dodali svoje komentarje. Diplomsko delo bomo zaključili s sklepom, v katerem bomo predstavili naše ugotovitve, teoretično uporabno vrednost in praktično uporabno vrednost diplomskega dela ter zapisali pomanjkljivosti raziskave.

Title:The impact of inflation on consumer behaviour
Abstract:Inflation represents the decline in the purchasing power of money, meaning that today we can buy less with the same amount of money than we could buy yesterday. In other words, inflation occurs when the prices of all goods and services increase, therefore, inflation has a significant impact on consumer behaviour. In the diploma thesis, we will define and explain in more detail the impact of inflation on consumer behavior, and accordingly, we will also explore today's consumer society, consumer purchasing habits, and patterns of consumer behaviour in relation to changes in the prices of goods and services. In the thesis, we will cover its meaning and phenomenon, examining its historical presence across the globe, and how it has changed in Slovenia over the past few decades. Various types of inflation and the consequences of price fluctuations will be discussed, along with consumer responses to inflationary pressures. Subsequently, the thesis will focus on consumer behavior, analyzing the impact of inflation on consumers and highlighting the importance of studying these behavioral patterns. The key factors influencing consumer behavior will also be addressed. A review of research studies on this topic will be conducted, incorporating critical analysis and commentary. The thesis will conclude with a summary of the main findings, an evaluation of the theoretical and practical contributions of the research, and a discussion of its limitations.
Keywords:Inflation, consumer behaviour, consumerism, impulsive buying, purchasing decisions, purchase behaviour.
