Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava pomen psiholoških dejavnikov pri uspehu podjetnikov.

Title:Psychological factors of success in entrepreneurship
Abstract:This thesis examines the importance of psychological factors in the success of entrepreneurs. The theoretical part presents the main characteristics of entrepreneurship in relation to psychology and the psychological factors most frequently associated with success, such as self-confidence, risk, locus of control, persistence, adaptability, stress resilience and goal orientation. The theory emphasises that these traits enable the entrepreneur to overcome challenges, make decisions in uncertain situations and achieve long-term goals. In the empirical part of the thesis, the results were obtained through a survey of entrepreneurs. The analysis showed that entrepreneurs attach the highest importance to perseverance, self-confidence and adaptability. Risk and locus of control play a lesser role, suggesting that entrepreneurs do not directly associate success with risk, but rather with thoughtfulness and personal stability. Communication was also frequently mentioned as an important factor in the open-ended questions and is less often discussed in the literature, but in practice it appears to be essential for successful entrepreneurial activity. The survey confirms that psychological factors play an important role in the success of entrepreneurs. The results offer practical orientations for the development of key personality traits and open up space for further research to further link theoretical insights and practice.
