Zbrano literaturo smo pregledali, analizirali in sintetizirali.

Title:Using virtual reality for teaching adult basic life support
Abstract:Introduction: The use of advanced technologies, such as virtual reality (VR), is becoming increasingly prevalent in education, particularly in the field of emergency medicine. This thesis presents the effectiveness of VR in teaching basic life support (BLS) procedures for adult resuscitation. Methods: Data were obtained from the PubMed and ScienceDirect databases as well as the Journal of Medical Internet Research Publications and Google Scholar search engines. The collected literature was reviewed, analyzed and synthesized. Results: Of the 51 records, three articles from databases and 8 from manual searches were included. The studies, conducted between 2019 and 2024 in Europe, Asia, and North America, involved 867 health sciences students or healthcare professionals. Seven were randomized controlled trials, two quasi-experimental, and two mixed-methods studies. Most studies examined the impact of VR on knowledge, CPR accuracy, and self-confidence, while some also addressed stress, long-term knowledge retention, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. Discussion and Conclusion: The use of VR in adult CPR training was generally effective—knowledge, self-confidence, and long-term knowledge retention improved, while stress either decreased or remained unchanged. Satisfaction increased, and cost-effectiveness was positively assessed in some cases. VR thus represents a promising supplement to traditional teaching methods, particularly in blended learning formats.
