Abstract:
V magistrskem delu preučujemo možnosti za izboljšavo upravljanja IT-sredstev v velikem podjetju z namenom povečanja učinkovitosti, preglednosti in skladnosti procesov upravljanja sredstev. Delo se na naša na področje ITAM in integracijo dobrih praks ITIL z uporabo standardiziranega modeliranja procesov BPMN ter boljšim izkoristkom obstoječega orodja GLPI. Analiza obstoječega stanja je razkrila pomanjkljivosti ne formaliziranih postopkov, zamude pri izdaji inventarnih nalepk, nepopolno beleženje servisnih posegov in nedefiniranih procesov. Poglavitni rezultati dela so bolj definirani procesi in priporočila glede na omenjene standarde.

Title:
Optimization of it asset management in a large company
Abstract:
This master’s thesis examines opportunities to improve IT asset management in a large company with the aim of increasing the efficiency, transparency, and compliance of asset management processes. The research focuses on the field of ITAM and the integration of ITIL best practices through the use of standardized process modeling (BPMN) and the enhanced utilization of the existing GLPI tool. The analysis of the current state revealed shortcomings such as informal procedures, delays in issuing inventory labels, incomplete recording of maintenance interventions, and undefined processes. The main outcomes of the thesis are more clearly defined processes and recommendations aligned with the mentioned standards.
