Title:Consumers' attitudes towards black friday shopping, their impulsive shopping and the consequences
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we examined consumer purchasing behaviour in the context of the Black Friday shopping event, focusing on consumers attitudes towards shopping during promotional activities, the phenomenon of impulsive buying and environmental awareness during marketing campaigns. The starting point of the research addresses the current issue of mass consumption and examines to what extent marketing influences, demographic characteristics and environmental concerns affect consumer behaviour during Black Friday. The research results showed that the majority of respondents do not express a high inclination towards shopping on Black Friday while marketing activities significantly influence the stimulation of impulsive buying behaviour. Respondents’ environmental awareness proved to be moderate, not reaching high levels of concern about the environmental impact of purchasing behaviour. Furthermore, the analysis did not confirm statistically significant differences in impulsive buying behaviour regarding consumers gender and age.
Keywords:Black Friday, impulsive buying behaviour, consumer behaviour, purchase decision, marketing stimuli, environmental awareness, sustainable consumption.
