Abstract:Preučujemo vpliv medgeneracijskega sodelovanja na organizacijsko kulturo v sodobnem delovnem okolju. Uporabili smo kombinacijo anketnega vprašalnika in poglobljenih intervjujev z različnimi generacijami.

Title:Workplace relations through the prism of intergenerational collaboration and the influence on organizational culture
Abstract:We are studying the impact of intergenerational collaboration on organizational culture in the modern work environment. The research was conducted among representatives of the four generations that currently dominate the labor market (Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, and Generation Z). A combination of survey questionnaires and in-depth interviews with members of different generations was employed. The results indicate that intergenerational relations are predominantly positive; however, younger generations more frequently perceive stereotypes and communication barriers. Mentorship, teamwork, and open and transparent communication were identified as key factors in strengthening the quality of relationships. The analysis of the collected data confirmed that different generations perceive organizational culture in diverse ways, which influences the formation of collective norms, values, and behavioral patterns. The findings highlight that generational diversity, when managed appropriately, represents a strategic advantage, as it fosters knowledge transfer, innovation, and competitive strength. Based on the theoretical framework and empirical research, recommendations were proposed for both organizations and individuals, aimed at promoting intergenerational collaboration and strengthening an inclusive and supportive organizational culture.
