V teoretičnem delu naloge so predstavljene ključne značilnosti izobraževanja odraslih, pomen mentorstva, komunikacije in e-izobraževanja, s poudarkom na prilagoditvah v času epidemije.

Title:Adult Learning Methods during COVID-19 Epidemic
Abstract:The COVID-19 pandemic had a profound impact on many areas of social life, with education being one of the most offected. Adult education, in particular, experienced a significant transformation as it was suddenly shifted to an online environment. This transition brought with it numerous challenges, but also created opportunities for the development of new learning methods. The objective of this master's thesis was to explore how the pandemic offected adult education methods, how the relationships between mentors and participants evolved, and the quality of distance education. The research aimed to examine how participants and program facilitators adapted to the new reality of digital learning and which approaches were identified as the most effective. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the key characteristics of adult education, the importance of mentorship, communication, and e-learning, with an emphasis on the adjustments made during the pandemic. The empirical part is based on a quantitative study conducted at six adult education institutions. The findings suggest that participants adapted relatively successfully to distance learning. The key factors for effective education were identified as clear teaching methods, high-quality communication, and mentor support. While participants missed face-to-face interaction, most expressed satisfaction with the delivery of the programs and were willing to continue engaging in online education. The research also highlighted that digital literacy plays a crucial role in the quality of education, underlining the need for additional training for both mentors and participants.
