Abstract:Delo obravnava uporabo generativne umetne inteligence za optimizacijo projektnega managementa. Najprej povzema temeljne koncepte projektnega vodenja, življenjski cikel in dejavnike uspešnosti, nato sistematično predstavi ključna področja umetne inteligence ter posebnosti generativne umetne inteligence. Osrednji del pokaže, kako generativna umetna inteligenca avtomatizira rutinska opravila (načrtovanje, poročanje, razporejanje virov), izboljšuje napovedovanje tveganj in podporo odločanju ter pospešuje komunikacijo in sodelovanje ekip (npr. z virtualnimi asistenti). Posebna pozornost je namenjena varnosti podatkov, upravljanju dostopov in etičnim vidikom. Praktični del ilustrira rabo orodij (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) pri administrativnih in vodstvenih opravilih v okoljih Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), povzetkih, prevodih, izboru dobaviteljev, brainstormingu in poglobljenem raziskovanju. Sklepi poudarjajo, da lahko generativna umetna inteligenca merljivo skrajša čas izvedbe, zviša kakovost odločitev in okrepi zadovoljstvo deležnikov, če organizacije hkrati vlagajo v kakovost podatkov, upravljanje tveganj ter usposabljanje zaposlenih.

Title:The use of generative artificial inteligence for project management optimization
Abstract:The thesis examines the use of generative artificial intelligence to optimise project management. It first summarises the fundamental concepts of project management, the life cycle and success factors, and then systematically presents the key areas of artificial intelligence along with the specific features of generative artificial intelligence. The central part demonstrates how generative artificial intelligence automates routine tasks (planning, reporting, resource allocation), improves risk prediction and decision-making support, and accelerates communication and team collaboration (e.g., through virtual assistants). Particular attention is devoted to data security, access management, and ethical aspects. The practical part illustrates the use of tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for administrative and managerial tasks within Microsoft 365 environments (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), summaries, translations, supplier selection, brainstorming, and in-depth research. The conclusions highlight that generative artificial intelligence can measurably shorten implementation time, improve decision quality, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction if organisations simultaneously invest in data quality, risk management, and employee training.
