Abstract:
V diplomskem delu predstavljamo projektni teden v vrtcu Majšperk, izveden v skupini otrok starih 3−5 let na temo talnih živali. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili pomen tal kot življenjskega prostora ter vlogo vzgojitelja pri dejavnostih. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela smo izvedli različne dejavnosti na temo življenja v tleh. Otrokov napredek v poznavanju talnih živali smo preverili pred začetkom in po koncu projektnega tedna z analizo otroških risb ter nestrukturiranega intervjuja pred in po aktivnosti. Otroci so po končani izvedbi projektnega tedna znali našteti živali, ki živijo v tleh. Kazali so večje zanimanje in izkazovali so spoštljivi odnos do živali. Analiza otroških risb je pokazala bolj poglobljeno razumevanje in poznavanje talnih živali.

Title:
Project week at Majšperk kindergarten: learning about life in the soil
Abstract:
In this thesis, we describe a project week at the Majšperk kindergarten, conducted with a group of children aged 3 to 5 years on the topic of soil animals. In the theoretical section, we discuss the importance of soil as a habitat and the educator's role in these activities. In the empirical section, we implemented various activities focused on life in the soil. We evaluated the children's knowledge of soil animals before and after the project week by analyzing their drawings and conducting unstructured interviews at both stages. After completing the project week, the children were able to list animals that live in the soil. They showed greater interest and demonstrated a respectful attitude towards animals. The analysis of the children's drawings indicated a deeper understanding and greater knowledge of soil animals.
