Abstract:Informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije so bistveno spremenile načine komuniciranja in oblikovanja odnosov, zlasti med mladostniki. Rezultati so pokazali večjo ozaveščenost udeležencev o nevarnostih spletnega nasilja, o njegovih vrstah in o virih pomoči ter spremembo njihovih prepričanj glede posledic spletnega nasilja.

Title:Design and evaluation of a chatbot-based intervention for raising awareness of cyberbullying among peers
Abstract:Information and communication technologies have significantly transformed the ways in which people communicate and form relationships, particularly among adolescents. Instant messaging applications and social networks enable constant connectedness, while at the same time creating space for the emergence of cyberbullying, which can have serious consequences. The purpose of this master's thesis was to examine whether an artificial-intelligence-supported chatbot can serve as a psychoeducational tool that raises adolescents' awareness—through a realistic experience in a controlled environment—of the dangers of cyberbullying, its various forms, and the sources of support available both online and in real life. We sought to explore in depth the user experience and the potential of chatbots to provide a learning experience that could have a preventive effect on adolescents. The study included six adolescents aged 13 to 18, who participated in a two-part intervention: an interaction with the chatbot and a follow-up evaluation interview. The results indicated increased awareness among participants regarding the risks of cyberbullying, its forms, and available support resources, as well as a shift in their beliefs about its impact on victims. The findings support the potential of chatbots as an innovative tool in preventive work with youth. The thesis concludes by highlighting the contributions of the study and offering recommendations for future research.
