Abstract:V magistrski nalogi obravnavamo avtomatizacijo marketinga in prodaje kot osrednji element sodobnega digitalnega poslovanja. Izhodišče predstavlja ugotovitev, da ročni procesi v podjetjih vse težje sledijo zahtevam trga, kjer kupci pričakujejo hitro odzivnost, personalizirano komunikacijo in natančne informacije v realnem času.

Title:Automation of sales and marketing in sales company
Abstract:The master’s thesis examines marketing and sales automation as a key component of modern, data-driven business operations. The starting point is the recognition that manual processes can no longer keep pace with today’s dynamic market environment, where customers expect fast responses, personalized communication, and accurate real-time information. The theoretical part presents the development of marketing and sales functions and highlights the areas in which automation creates the greatest value: content marketing, advertising, CRM management, and the introduction of artificial intelligence. Special emphasis is placed on predictive analytics, real-time personalization, and intelligent decision-making, where organizations are shifting from passive to smart automation. The empirical part analyses the current situation in sales company, a distributor of automotive parts that already uses basic digital infrastructure but still relies heavily on manual processes. The analysis shows that the main limitations stem from fragmented data, the absence of systematic marketing communication, manual customer notifications, and insufficient use of the CRM system. Based on these findings, a comprehensive proposal for upgrading the automation system was developed. The proposed model includes CRM activation, the creation of a public website, automated communication flows, digital analytics, marketing automation, warehouse and logistics optimization, and the use of artificial intelligence for prediction, decision-making, and personalized customer experiences. The findings demonstrate that automation provides sales company not only with operational improvements but also with a unified data ecosystem, faster decision-making, and a foundation for expanding into the B2C market. As such, automation emerges as a strategic factor that strengthens the company’s long-term competitiveness and supports sustainable growth.
