Abstract:Magistrska naloga obravnava pomen vzgoje v pedagoškem delu učiteljev razrednega pouka ter njihovo vlogo pri preprečevanju in obvladovanju neželenega vedenja učencev.

Title:Classroom teachers strategies to prevent misbehaviour in class
Abstract:The master's thesis deals with the importance of education in the pedagogical work of classroom teachers and their role in preventing and managing undesirable behavior in students. It consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, based on professional literature, we present the school as an educational institution and highlight the importance of the classroom climate, teacher authority, and cooperation with parents. We pay special attention to preventive, supportive, and corrective strategies and factors that influence the occurrence of undesirable behavior. The empirical part is based on a quantitative survey among classroom teachers. Using a questionnaire, we examined the most common forms of undesirable behavior and the strategies teachers use to manage undesirable behaviour. The results show that teachers most often encounter less intense but repetitive forms of disruptive behavior. They highlight clearly defined rules, consistency, a positive classroom climate, and cooperation with parents as key factors for successful management. The findings confirm that the educational component has a significant impact on the quality of the learning process. Based on the results, we have developed guidelines for pedagogical practice aimed at strengthening preventive action and creating a stimulating learning environment.
