Abstract:Na poskusnem polju Inštituta za hmeljarstvo in pivovarstvo Slovenije smo leta 2005, po zadnjem osipavanju hmelja, v medvrstni prostor sejali različne dosevke: oljno redkev (Raphanus sativus), belo gorjušico (Sinapis alba), črno deteljo (Trifolium pratense) in mešanico: ajdo (Fagopyrum esculentum), grašico (Vicia sp.) in facelijo (Phacelia tanatacetifolia). Sočasno smo izvedli kontrolno obravnavo (brez dosevka).

Title:OF EFFICIENCY GREEN COVER IN INTERROWS UNDER INTEGRATED HOP PRODUCTION
Abstract:At the experimental field of Slovenian Institute for Hop Research and Brewing the treatments with cover crops: fodder radish (Raphanus sativus), white mustard (Sinapis alba), red clover (Trifolium pratense) and mixture; buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum), vetch (Vicia sp.) and phacelia (Phacelia tanatacetifolia) plus control treatment (without crop) were established after the last shed of hop in 2005. The experiment was designed as a randomized block, with five treatments in three repetitions. The aim of the research was to identify advantages and weaknesses of seeding cover crops in hop field and to find the extent to which the organic matter in the ground can be substituted. Based on the results of the experiment, we can conclude that the most appropriate is fodder radish due to a rapid volume increases, growth intensity and insensitiveness for trampling with heavy machinery. At first, we achieved acceptable results with the mixture (buckwheat, phacelia and vetch), however buckwheat, which had broken up, gave the worst results at the end of the growing period. Red clover had been annoyed by screening from light interception, such as white mustard, which gave the least organic matter for increasing humus in the soil.
