Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava učinkovitost interne komunikacije v podjetju GKN Driveline Slovenija in njen vpliv na medosebne odnose, zaupanje ter reševanje nesoglasij. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni ključni koncepti komunikacije, interne komunikacije in organizacijske klime, s poudarkom na pomembnosti aktivnega poslušanja, jasnega podajanja informacij in krepitve kakovostnih odnosov znotraj podjetja.

Title:Effective communication at GKN Driveline Slovenia
Abstract:The bachelor’s thesis examines the effectiveness of internal communication in the company GKN Driveline Slovenia and its impact on interpersonal relationships, trust, and the resolution of disagreements. The theoretical part presents the key concepts of communication, internal communication, and organizational climate, with an emphasis on the importance of active listening, clear information delivery, and strengthening high-quality relationships within the company. The empirical part is based on a survey questionnaire through which we analysed employees’ perceptions of communication processes, their relationships with superiors, and interdepartmental cooperation. The results show that most employees evaluate communication positively, although differences emerge in perceived clarity and openness. The company predominantly relies on traditional communication channels, especially face to face meetings, employee assemblies, and personal conversations, which enable direct interpersonal interaction and immediate feedback. Employees highly value their trust in superiors and their accessibility, while the most important area for improvement is the consistent provision of feedback on work performance and achievements. Active listening is recognized as a fundamental element of open communication, as it strengthens trust and has a positive impact on relationships. Interpersonal relationships are generally rated as good, and informal socializing is also present. Conflicts are rare and most often arise from differing viewpoints, personality differences, and unclear communication. Based on the results, we have developed recommendations to improve internal communication, which can support the company’s further development and strengthen employee cooperation.
