Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava učne strategije pri učenju glasbe z vidika poklicnih glasbenikov in učiteljev glasbe. V teoretičnem delu so definirane temeljne značilnosti učenja glasbe, različne učne strategije ter pomen motivacije, glasbenega poslušanja in analize glasbenih del.

Title:Learning strategies of musicians
Abstract:The thesis explores learning strategies in music education from the perspective of professional musicians and music teachers. Learning to play a musical instrument is a complex and long-term process that, besides technical skills, also involves the development of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective abilities. The aim of the research was to identify which learning strategies musicians use in their own learning process and which approaches they use when teaching others. The theoretical part presents the main characteristics of music learning, different learning strategies, and the importance of motivation, listening to music, and analyzing musical works. Special attention is also given to the role of the mentor and the relationship between teacher and student in the process of music education. The empirical part is based on semi-structured interviews with professional musicians and music educators. The results show that musicians use various learning strategies that develop and change over time according to their experience and personal characteristics. Slow and structured practice, active listening to music, analysis of musical structures, and the development of personal musical expression play an important role in the learning process. The interviewees also emphasize the importance of an individualized teaching approach and practical experience for the development of a musician. The findings confirm that effective music learning is the result of the interaction between different learning strategies, personal motivation, and the long-term development of the musician.
