Title:MODERN TRAINING METHODS IN INFORMATION SECURITY
Abstract:The thesis examines modern educational methods in the field of information security and their importance in strengthening knowledge, awareness, and security behaviour among employees in organizations. The starting point of the thesis is the recognition that technical security measures alone do not provide sufficient protection of information systems, as a significant proportion of risks arises from the human factor. Due to a lack of knowledge of security rules, low awareness, inappropriate behavioural patterns, or an inability to recognize threats, employees may unintentionally compromise the security of information and organizational systems. The purpose of the thesis is to collect, present, analyse, and compare modern educational approaches in the field of information security, and to determine how these approaches are presented in professional and scientific literature. The thesis is based on an analysis of domestic and foreign professional and scientific literature. Based on the results, it was found that interactive, practically oriented, and participant-adapted methods are generally more effective than traditional forms of content delivery, as their use improves the understanding of threats, long-term retention, and the transfer of knowledge into practice. It was also found that the success of education depends on comprehensive planning, within which content relevance, regular repetition, adaptation to the target group, and support from the organizational security culture must be considered. In addition, the results showed that the field is methodologically diverse, as it is not possible to determine a single universally most effective educational method.
