Obravnavani so predvsem vidiki, povezani z uporabo digitalnih rešitev, organizacijo poslovnih procesov, komunikacijo s kupci in podporo managementa pri nadaljnjem razvoju e-poslovanja.

Title:Management´s role in digital transformation: implementation of e-business in small and medium-sized enterprises
Abstract:Digital transformation has become an important part of business in recent years, including in small and medium-sized enterprises. Companies are increasingly aware that digital solutions are no longer merely an additional option, but are becoming a condition for more efficient operations, better communication with customers and long-term competitiveness. Nevertheless, the implementation of e-business is not simple for many companies, as it involves not only the use of new technology, but also changes in processes, working methods and the mindset of employees. The thesis discusses the role of management in the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, with an emphasis on the implementation of e-business. It highlights that successful digital transformation does not depend only on the selection of appropriate digital solutions, but also on how management plans, guides and aligns these changes with the company's business objectives. Digital transformation is therefore presented as a comprehensive process that includes technological, organisational and human aspects of business. In the empirical part, the current state of digitalisation is presented through the example of company X, along with possibilities for upgrading the existing e-business system. The main aspects discussed are related to the use of digital solutions, the organisation of business processes, communication with customers and management support in the further development of e-business. The findings show that management plays a key role in successful digital transformation, as its support, guidance and decision-making influence the process of introducing digital changes in the company. In this context, clear strategic direction, the gradual adaptation of processes, employee involvement and the alignment of digital solutions with the company's business objectives are identified as important factors.
