Abstract:	Diplomsko delo se je začelo z zbiranjem frazeološkega gradiva, sledila je temeljita primerjava frazeološkega gradiva za iztočnice pod črko B v treh slovarjih: v Slovarju slovenskega knjižnega jezika (1998), v Slovensko-nemškem slovarju Maksa Pleteršnika (1894) in v Slovarju slovenskega jezika Jožeta Glonarja (1936). Naslov dela v angleškem jeziku se glasi: A comparison of phraseological material for headwords starting with B (among Dictionary of Slovene literary language, Pleteršnik, and Glonar dictionaries). Namen diplomske naloge je razviden že iz samega naslova diplomskega dela, obenem pa je bi namen tudi gradivo pregledno izpisati v razpredelnice. Cilj je bil s pomočjo računalnika izrisati grafični prikaz frazemov v obliki grafikonov ter z ugotovitvami potrditi oziroma ovreči zastavljene hipoteze, kar obenem predstavlja rezultate dela. Uporabljene so bile deskriptivna metoda, komparativna metoda in zgodovinska metoda, viri pa primarni, sekundarni in terciarni.

Title:	A comparison of phraseological material for headwords starting with B (among Dictionary of Slovene literary language, Pleteršnik, and Glonar dictionaries)
Abstract:	I started working on my diploma paper by collecting phraseological material and thorough comparison of phraseological material for headwords starting with letter B in three different dictionaries. Those were Dictionary of Slovene literary language (1998), Slovene – German dictionary by Maks Pleteršnik (1894) and Dictionary of Slovene language by Jože Glonar (1936). Translated into English the title of my diploma paper reads A comparison of phraseological material for headwords starting with B (among Dicitonary of Slovene literary language, Pleteršnik, and Glonar dictionaries). The purpose of my work can be clearly seen from the title of my diploma paper. However, I also wanted to write out the material clearly in a form of tables. My aim was to create a graphical presentation of phrases in a form of diagrams, and use the acquired findings to either confirm or disprove the formerly written hypotheses, which also present the results of my work. I used a descriptive method, a comparative method, and a historical method. The sources were primary, secondary, and tertiary.
