Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo raziskovali možnost vpeljave računalniškega mišljenja z uporabo didaktičnih robotkov pri aktivnostih razširjenega programa. Podatke smo zbirali z opazovanjem, evalvacijami in refleksijami dejavnosti.

Title:Introduction of computational thinking through the use of educational robots in extended school programme activities
Abstract:In this master's thesis, we explored the possibility of introducing computational thinking through the use of educational robots in extended programme activities. The aim of the research was to determine whether activities using KUBO robots can contribute to the development of the basic elements of computational thinking while also encouraging cooperation, creativity, and motivation among students. In the theoretical part, we presented computational thinking and its importance in education, the use of educational robots in education, and the characteristics of the extended programme. In the empirical part, we carried out activities using KUBO robots within the extended programme of primary school. Data were collected through observation, evaluations, and reflections on the activities. The findings showed that activities involving educational robots have a positive impact on the development of the basic elements of computational thinking in younger students. The students mainly developed logical reasoning, planning sequences of steps, and debugging skills. In addition, the activities also encouraged cooperation, communication, creativity, and motivation. The results further showed that the extended programme represents a suitable and flexible learning environment for introducing such activities and for developing computational thinking through play and experiential learning.
