Abstract:Uvod: Posttravmatska stresna motnja predstavlja pomemben problem med zdravstvenimi delavci, saj so pogosto izpostavljeni različnim delovnim obremenitvam. Ključni dejavnik tveganja predstavljajo delovne obremenitve, vključno s pomanjkanjem kadra in virov za delo, dolgimi izmenami, soočanjem s smrtjo in kritično bolnimi pacienti, slabimi medsebojnimi odnosi in izpostavljenostjo različnim nevarnostim.

Title:Posttraumatic stress disorder due to the impact of workload on the health of healthcare workers
Abstract:Introduction: Posttraumatic stress disorder represents a significant problem among healthcare workers, as they are frequently exposed to various work related burdens. The disorder can significantly affect their health and quality of work. Methods: A literature review method was used, with sources obtained from international databases. The literature search process is presented using a PRISMA diagram. The studies included in the analysis were evaluated based on the hierarchy of evidence. The results are presented in an evaluation table and interpreted using a narrative synthesis. Results: The analysis included 8 studies, the findings of which indicate that posttraumatic stress disorder is relatively common among healthcare workers. Key risk factors include work related burdens such as staff shortages and lack of resources, long shifts, exposure to death and critically ill patients, poor interpersonal relationships, and exposure to various hazards. Discussion and conclusion: The findings suggest that workload is a central factor in the development of post traumatic stress disorder among healthcare workers. Reducing workload and improving work organization are key measures for lowering the risk of developing post traumatic stress disorder.
