Podatke smo analizirali s korelacijsko analizo, hierarhično regresijsko analizo in moderacijskima analizama.

Title:The relationship between perceived injustice and exclusionary radicalized beliefs among adolescents: the moderating role of guilt and sympathy
Abstract:Adolescence is a developmental period in which identity, values, and attitudes toward different social groups are formed. Therefore, understanding the factors associated with the development of exclusionary radicalized beliefs is particularly important. The aim of this master's thesis was to examine the relationship between perceived injustice, guilt, sympathy, and these beliefs among adolescents. We examined whether perceived injustice represents a risk factor, and whether guilt and sympathy represent possible protective factors in the formation of such beliefs. The study included 493 students from a secondary school in Maribor, who completed self-report questionnaires measuring perceived injustice, guilt, sympathy, and exclusionary radicalized beliefs. The data were analysed using correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and moderation analyses. The results showed that perceived injustice was positively associated with exclusionary radicalized beliefs and also positively predicted them. Guilt emerged as a significant negative predictor in the regression model but did not moderate the relationship between perceived injustice and exclusionary radicalized beliefs. Sympathy was not a direct predictor, but significantly weakened this relationship. The findings suggest that perceived injustice is an important risk factor, although it does not sufficiently explain such beliefs on its own. Moral emotions, especially sympathy, should also be considered, as they may weaken the link between perceived injustice and exclusionary beliefs. The findings highlight the importance of prevention efforts that strengthen sensitivity to others’ distress and prosocial orientation.
