Abstract:Eden izmed najpomembnejših dejavnikov uspešnega delovanja organizacij v sodobnem svetu so zaposleni. Prav zato sodobni management človeških virov vse več pozornosti namenja njihovi zavzetosti pri opravljanju delovnih nalog. Zavzeti zaposleni s svojim odnosom do dela pomembno prispevajo k večji individualni delovni uspešnosti in uspešnosti organizacije. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni management človeških virov, zavzetost zaposlenih, dejavniki ki vplivajo nanjo, individualna delovna uspešnost in njuna medsebojna povezanost. Zbrani podatki so bili analizirani z uporabo opisne statistke, Pearsonove korelacijske analize in komparativne metode.

Title:Employee engagement as a factor of individual work performance in the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia
Abstract:Employees are one of the most important factors contributing to the successful performance of organizations in today's world. Therefore, modern human resource management places increasing emphasis on employee engagement in the workplace. Through their attitude towards work, engaged employees make an important contribution to higher individual work performance and overall organizational success. This bachelor's thesis examines the relationship between employee engagement and individual work performance. The theoretical part presents human resource management, employee engagement, the factors influencing employee engagement, individual work performance, and the relationship between these two concepts. It also introduces the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia and the Financial Office Celje, where the empirical research was conducted. The empirical part is based on a survey conducted among employees of the Celje Financial Office. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and the comparative method. The results show that employees evaluate most factors related to employee engagement positively. A positive relationship was found between employee engagement and individual work performance, as well as between employee engagement and motivational factors. The comparative analysis also revealed differences in the level of employee engagement among different groups of employees according to their demographic characteristics. The findings confirm that a supportive work environment provides a solid foundation for improving employee engagement and enhancing organizational performance.
