Abstract:

Title:
DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE OF A WHEELCHAIR
Abstract:
A development of software and hardware equipment for a voice controlled wheelchair is described in diploma work. The recognition of voice with feed-forward neural networks, the development of switcher between VOIC and joystick and also the development of security function with sensors system are shown. All mentioned algorithms were made on a DSP processor. An application for wheelchair controlling through serial port was made on personal computer with Visual Studio .NET 2003. The wheelchair controlling has been tested on the simulator.
