Abstract:Razvoj zaposlenih predstavlja pomemben del managementa človeških virov, saj organizacijam omogoča ohranjanje in nadgrajevanje kompetenc zaposlenih ter prilagajanje spremembam v delovnem okolju. V družbi SŽ – VIT imajo izobraževanje, usposabljanje, izpopolnjevanje in karierni razvoj pomembno vlogo pri zagotavljanju varnega, kakovostnega in učinkovitega izvajanja železniške dejavnosti. Magistrsko delo obravnava sistem razvoja zaposlenih v družbi SŽ – VIT ter proučuje zadovoljstvo zaposlenih z obstoječimi razvojnimi aktivnostmi in njihov odnos do vseživljenjskega učenja.

Title:Human resources development in the company sž - vleka in tehnika
Abstract:Employee development represents an important component of human resource management, as it enables organizations to maintain and enhance employees' competencies while adapting to changes in the working environment. At SŽ – VIT, education, training, professional development, and career advancement play a significant role in ensuring the safe, high-quality, and efficient performance of railway operations. This master's thesis examines the employee development system at SŽ – VIT and explores employees' satisfaction with existing development activities as well as their attitudes toward lifelong learning. The research findings indicate that employees are satisfied with the existing education and training system and successfully apply the acquired knowledge in their daily work. Most employees believe that additional education and training are essential for the successful performance of their job tasks and consider learning to be a continuous process throughout their working lives. The study also revealed that older employees are less willing than younger employees to participate in additional training and development for new job positions, while the analysis of investments in employee development indicates a gradual increase in financial resources allocated to employee education and training over the past three years. The findings emphasize the importance of systematic employee development, strengthening a culture of lifelong learning, promoting intergenerational knowledge transfer, and adapting development activities to the needs of different groups of employees, thereby providing an important foundation for the further development of the human resource function within the organization.
