Abstract:V diplomskem seminarju obravnavamo dve večji povezani področji, in sicer invencijsko-inovacijski management in elektronsko poslovanje oz. informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije v bančnih sistemih na področju odnosov s strankami.

Title:THE POTENTIAL OF INVETIONS AND INNOVATIONS IN INFORMATION-COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES INTERGRATED IN FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
Abstract:In our diploma seminar we have been focusing on both, invention-innovation management and e-business with information-communication technology within banking sistems and their customer relationships management (CRM), respectively. Firstly, we have introduced the important terminology in innovation management and the whole process from idea towards innovation. Additionally, we have emphasized the importance of diffusion of innovation and its role in introducing new pieces of innovation. We have focused on Maslow's theory for which we believe that offers an adequate theoretical framework for examining a satisfactory level at which employees are. In fact, our premise is that observing the satisfactory level can lead us to improvements in enhancing employees' performance regarding innovation process. Innovative e-business established the need for environment that supports creativity and enables CRM and ERP. All in all, innovating in financial institutions depends on employees' acknowledgment of innovation factors. Therefore, we have conducted semi-structured interview with a representative from middle management in order to analyse how the bank has taken the innovation factors into consideration.
