Abstract:Magistrsko delo z naslovom Posebnosti v likovni interpretaciji prostora pri učencih z lažjo motnjo v duševnem razvoju v teoretičnem delu podaja razlago, kdo sploh so učenci s posebnimi potrebami s poudarkom na učencih z motnjo v duševnem razvoju in kakšne so možnosti vključevanja teh otrok v vzgojo in izobraževanje.

Title:Specific characteristics of Artistic interpretation of space in students with Mild Intelectual Disability
Abstract:The theoretical part the Master's Thesis with the title Specific Characteristics of the artistic interpretation of space in students with mild intellectual disability defines the explanation of who the pupils with special needs are thus focusing on the students with intellectual disability, and what are the options of including these children into education and schooling. In this part of the Master’s Thesis we have also introduced the subject of fine arts education for the pupils with disabilities. In planning and carrying out the fine arts education class it is essential to design an individual programme for these pupils. In the theoretical part of the Thesis we indicate the role and the meaning of the individual programme component. Within the fine arts education subject we have introduced the operational goals and terms from the syllabi of regular primary schools and the syllabi of special schools. The work is based on the research of the space interpretation in pupils therefore we have introduced in detail what the space in fine art represents, how we sense it as well as the manner of space display in art works of children. In the empirical part the purpose of Master’s Thesis has been introduced as well as the results of the research we have carried out at the regular primary school and at the special primary school. With the help of the research we have gained the basic differences in perceiving space and space relations among the pupils of both schools. Based on these results we have added some of the suggestions in the conclusion that can help the teachers in planning fine arts tasks and carrying them out.
