Abstract:V magistrski nalogi smo želeli osvetliti problem permisivne vzgoje in njeno pojavnost v slovenskih osnovnih šolah. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika nekoliko podrobneje raziskali področje konformistične morale in disciplinskih problemov v šoli ter katere pristope šolski svetovalni delavci uporabljajo.

Title:The views of school counsellors on the reflection of permissiveness in slovenian schools
Abstract:The purpose of this thesis is shedding light upon the issue of permissive education and its presence in Slovenian elementary schools. Permissive education is not a modern phenomenon. It was first mentioned in the middle of last century, but its origins reach back to the age of enlightenment, when Rousseau emphasized the so-called natural education. The description, characteristics, and reasons for permissive education have been summarised, whereby more focus was put on its consequences. Despite the concept of permissive education being well-known and researched, it was decided to check the conditions in Slovenia and Slovenian schools. Permissively raised children and their parents are encountered often, thus it has been decided, that this concept is not yet obsolete and is a frequent subject of bigger studies. In the empirical part a survey questionnaire has been used to further research the field of conformist moral and disciplinary issues in schools, and which approaches school counsellors are using. This thesis is based on the descriptive and causal non-experimental method of empirical pedagogic research. With the results insight into the conditions in Slovenian schools has been gained, and some realizations could be highlighted. Permissive education is a frequent phenomenon in Slovenia, and its consequences can be seen more and more often in elementary schools. School counsellors think they have enough knowledge on permissive education, and with this they are also trying to master the communication with parents. The concept of a »child-friendly school« is seen as interesting, which, however, is not seen by all counsellors exclusively as integration of permissiveness into school. We conclude that permissive education and issues corresponding with it are topical in Slovenia and need to be discussed.
