Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili načrtovane plesno-gibalne dejavnosti, povezane z drugimi kurikularnimi področji.

Title:Dancing activities in connection to other fields of the curriculum in the firs age period
Abstract:This diploma paper presents the planned dance and movement activities in connection to other fields of the Curriculum. We wanted to determine the possibilities of integrating different fields of the Curriculum with dance lessons in the first age period of kindergarten. We presented the characteristics of dance lessons, tasks and aims, planned and performed dance activities, along with the global aim of art, in the theoretical part of the paper. We emphasized the meaning of interconnectivity which enables the child to achieve a wider range of educational aims and supports the principle according to which everything one learns is connected. In the practical part of this paper, we prepared eight lesson plans based on the theoretical starting points which include dance activities in integration with other curricular fields and were carried out in the kindergarten. We also made a structured interview based on the research questions. We conducted the interview with eight kindergarten educators. Based on the interviews and evaluations we have ascertained that there are different ways we can connect dance activities to all other fields of curriculum activities. Children aged 2 -3 are already able to perform dance movements with props, observe the movement of adults and other children, as well as imitate them, demonstrate movements and skills at the initiative of adults, perform dance movements while following the rhythm of music and express emotions while moving spontaneously.
