Title:Learning styles in adult education
Abstract:In the master's thesis: »Learning Styles in Adult Education« we describe learning styles, adult eduation, and examine in detail the development of learning styles in adults and how it is affected by their personality growth. 93 respondents involved in adult education participated in the empirical work. We studied which gadgets and learning techniques adults use during education, with whom and where adults learn, how much time adults devote to learning before an assessment or during education, if they ever lose motivation to learn, and what obstacles adults encounter during their education. We found out that most adults use a computer as a learning aid, and the use of notes predominates among adult learning techniques. Most often adults prefer to learn independently, and the learning space is usually at home. We also found that adults devote 1 to 3 weeks to learning before an assessment and they know well how to organize their learning time. They rarly lose the motivation to learn, the biggest obstacle they encounter during education is most often the lack of time.
