Abstract:Pričujoče magistrsko delo obravnava glasbeno pravljico kot didaktično sredstvo aktivne glasbene komunikacije in se osredotoča predvsem na 2. in 3. vzgojno-izobraževalno obdobje.

Title:Nobody understands me - an original musical fairy tale for primary school children in the 3rd educational cycle
Abstract:This master's thesis examines the musical fairy tale as a didactic tool for actively teaching music and focuses mainly on the 2nd and 3rd educational cycle of primary school. It is divided into two parts - a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part presents the importance of active musical communication in music lessons in the 2nd and 3rd educational cycle, which is fundamental for an integrated approach in the cognitive, affective-social and psychomotor domains. It emphasizes the need for creative thinking and imagination, which today's young people lack, but which is a fundamental component for functioning in the modern world. In the theoretical part, the principles of music teaching for the development of creativity and imagination are presented and the musical fairy tale is introduced as a tool. The fairy tale is analysed in the master's thesis and guidelines for its implementation are provided. The musical fairy tale consists of a connecting narrative text and 15 short pieces of music that complement the action, intensify the drama and highlight the characteristics of the main characters and their relationships. All the pieces are vocal-instrumental, written for two soloists (Katarina, the mother), a trio (the teacher, the parents), a small group of girls (the "Cool Girls" group) and a youth choir, which mainly plays the role of a connector and narrator of the plot. The piano and Orff instruments play the main role in the instrumental accompaniment with occasional body percussion.
Keywords:Active musical communication, imagination, musical fairy tale, 3rd educational cycle.
