Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali vlogo bioloških in družbeno-socialnih razlik v managementu človeških virov, s poudarkom na vplivu teh razlik na delovne vloge moških in žensk.

Title:Differences between men and women and their impact on human resource management activities organized by svz hrastovec
Abstract:In this thesis, we discussed the role od biological and socio-social differences in human resource management, with an emphasis on the impact of these differences on the work roles of men and women. Biological differences, such as hormonal influences and physical characteristics, often shape perceptions of the suitability of certain jobs, althougn modern research shows that womenare equally capable of performing physically demanding jobs with appropriate training. Nevertheless, socio.social differences resulting grom historical and cultural practices still affect the distribution of power and resources, leading to the persistence of inequality, especially in access to high positions and fair wages. Stereotypes serve as cognitive shortcuts that influence expectations and behavior towards individuals, but at the same time justify social hierarchies and inequalities, leading to discrimination. Discrimination against women manifests itself in lower wages, limited career opportunities and occupational segregation, whichhighlights the necessity of policies and practices to promote gender equality. In a survey conducted at SVU Hrastovec, where 640 resedents are cared for, 64 % of respondents perceived defferences in leadership styles between men and women, which shows the importance of adressing these differences to improve organizational culture.
