Diplomsko nalogo sestavlja teoretični, empirični in praktični del.

Title:Introducing the concept of actuators during the preschool period with the help of a didactic toy
Abstract:This thesis focuses on introducing a didactic toy to teach the concept of actuators during the preschool period. The research aimed to discover how preschool children develop a basic understanding of how actuators function through interaction with a specially designed didactic toy. The thesis is divided into three main sections: theoretical, empirical, and practical. In the theoretical section, we delve into key theories on child development and examine the role of technology in preschool and primary school. The empirical section involves observing children as they engage with the didactic toy, using a rating scale to assess their interactions. We analysed the results to evaluate the toy's effectiveness and set out four hypotheses, which we later discussed. The practical section details the process of making the toy, supported by photographs and step-by-step descriptions. The practical implementation involved active exploration, experimentation, and developing critical thinking, language skills, and problem-solving abilities in preschool children. Our thesis highlights the importance of integrating technology into children's everyday lives, suggesting that the didactic toy used in this study could be a powerful tool for encouraging scientific curiosity and fostering technical thinking in young learners.
