Abstract:V magistrskem delu obravnavamo časopisno gledališče kot inovativno metodo za poučevanje medijske pismenosti. Metoda spodbuja kritično mišljenje, analiziranje, preizpraševanje in ustvarjanje (medijskih) vsebin. Ključne značilnosti so opolnomočenje, kreativni pedagoški pristop, kulturni kontekst in humor.

Title:Media literacy with the newspaper theater method
Abstract:Master’s thesis explores newspaper theatre as an innovative method for media literacy learning. With qualitative analysis of interviews with experts in the field, we found that newspaper theatre can effectively facilitate the teaching of media literacy. The method promotes critical (opinion making) thinking, analysis, questioning, and (media) content creation. Its key features include empowerment, a creative (educational) pedagogical approach, cultural context, and humour. The results also indicate that newspaper theatre fosters critical media literacy and offers a creative tool for raising social awareness. It recommends further research on a larger sample, as well as long-term impact of the method on students and audiences.
