Abstract:Uvod: Preventivno zdravstvo omogoča zgodnje odkrivanje in zdravljenje zdravstvenih težav, zmanjšuje obremenjenost zdravstvenega sistema. Razprava in zaključek: Na podlagi ugotovitev priporočamo strategijo, usmerjeno v tri glavne cilje: 1) povečanje prodaje preventivnih storitev, 2) razširitev baze potencialnih strank in 3) krepitev digitalne prisotnosti. Sistematičen pristop spletnega prodajnega lijaka omogoča dinamično prilagajanje trženjskih aktivnosti in optimizacijo proračuna ter s tem dolgoročno izboljšuje učinkovitost marketinških naporov.

Title:Marketing of preventive health services in private institution
Abstract:Introduction: Preventive healthcare enables early detection and treatment of medical issues, thereby reducing the burden on the healthcare system. Due to the growing number of new services, private providers must implement effective marketing strategies that target the population accurately and ensure economic viability. Methods: This master’s thesis is based on a systematic literature review and a semi-structured interview with the head of marketing at a medium-sized Slovenian private medical and wellness center. The analysis involved coding the interview transcript and synthesizing key marketing practices. Results: Digital marketing proved to be the most effective channel due to its precise measurability and broad reach. The proposed approach combines a digital sales funnel (awareness, interest, decision, purchase stages), content marketing, and a referral system. This combination enables better segmentation of the target audience, message personalization, and increased user engagement. The existing contact database is underutilized in digital campaigns. Discussion and Conclusion: Based on the findings, a strategy is recommended that focuses on three main objectives: 1) increasing the sales of preventive services, 2) expanding the potential customer base, and 3) strengthening digital presence. A systematic digital sales funnel approach allows for dynamic adaptation of marketing activities and budget optimization, thereby improving the long-term effectiveness of marketing efforts.
