Abstract:Uvod: Za zagotavljanje kakovostne, varne, učinkovite in celostne zdravstvene nege je ključnega pomena psihološko dobro počutje zaposlenih v zdravstveni negi in njihovo zadovoljstvo pri delu. Pridobljeni podatki so bili statistično obdelani in analizirani z Microsoft Excel 2013 in IBM SPSS 29.0.

Title:Employees´ psychological well-being in nursing care in connection with job satisfaction
Abstract:Introduction: The psychological well-being of employees in nursing care and their job satisfaction are of key importance for ensuring high-quality, safe, effective and comprehensive nursing care. The purpose of the final thesis was to determine the level of employees' psychological well-being in nursing care in relation to their job satisfaction. Methods: In the theoretical part, a descriptive method of work was used, and in the empirical part, a descriptive cross-sectional research with a survey method was used. As a research instrument, we used a survey questionnaire. 100 employees in nursing care, who are members of a selected regional association of nurses, midwives and healthcare technicians, participated in the survey. The obtained data were statistically processed and analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2013 in IBM SPSS 29.0. Results: The results show that employees in nursing care score high on psychological well-being (PV = 4.68) and medium on job satisfaction (PV = 3.9), and that psychological well-being is statistically significantly positively associated with job satisfaction. Discussion and conclusion: The results of the survey are encouraging, as they indicate a positive subjective experience of individuals in relation to their work. Ensuring optimal psychological well-being of employees in nursing care and their job satisfaction is important, as it affects the quality and safety of nursing care and the entire healthcare system.
