Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava učinke programa promocije zdravja na zaposlene v podjetju X. V sodobnem svetu s hitrim načinom življenja v prostem času in na delovnem mestu so tveganja povezana s sedečimi delovnimi mesti, stresom in z nezdravim življenjskim slogom vse bolj razširjena, zato je izvajanje programov promocije zdravja nujen ukrep za krepitev telesnega in duševnega zdravja zaposlenih.

Title:The impact of health promotion on employees in the company x
Abstract:The thesis examines the effects of the workplace health promotion program on employees in company X. In today’s fast-paced world, risks related to sedentary jobs, stress, and unhealthy lifestyles are very common, making the implementation of health promotion programs a necessary measure to strengthen employees’ physical and mental health. The central issue addressed in the thesis is how companies, through health promotion programs, can reduce risks of illness, absenteeism and burnout, while at the same time increasing employee satisfaction and productivity. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether company X sufficiently and effectively implements its health promotion program and what effects the program has on employees. A questionnaire was used to collect data on employees’ lifestyle habits as well as their awareness of and participation in the health promotion program. The results of the research showed that employees recognize the importance of a healthy lifestyle and generally evaluate the implementation of the program positively. They most often participate in organized sports activities and different trainings with key effects on better stress management, higher motivation, and lower absenteeism. It was also found that employees would prefer a greater variety of activities, better accessibility of the program for all employees, and improved communication about the available options.
